The Morrelly Homeland Security Center Resident Research Partners
The Applied Science Center for Homeland Security Research Foundation (“Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research organization that owns and operates the Morrelly Homeland Security Center which is the first – and only one – of its kind homeland security-focused, C4I facility that is located in Bethpage, New York. The Foundation has three critical homeland security functions:
Research and Collaboration: The Foundation brings together numerous Resident Research Partners. This public-private partnership is comprised of private companies, government entities and educational institutions in order to develop sustainable and resilient homeland security solutions to meet the dynamic needs of first responders, as well as local, state and Federal entities.
Emergency Operations Center: The Foundation’s facility serves as Nassau County’s emergency operations center and has the capacity to expand to a regional command and control facility.
Training: The Foundation provides homeland security and other related educational training programs for local, state and Federal homeland security personnel.
